BGLAD's 5th Speaker Event: BGLAD and DuPont Office of Worklife and Diversity sponsor Faith Wohl, former Director, DuPont. Human
Resources. Ms. Wohl pioneered the Company's initiative to help employees balance their family lives and careers and was responsible for many of DuPont's efforts to improve its workplaces for women
and minorities. She has been recognized for her accomplishments in family and workplace issues by a number of national and community organizations.

We gain 24 new BGLAD members.
We participate in the DuPont Martin Luther King event, with our new BGLAD display board.
DuPont sponsors and is represented at Reaching Out 2003, a conference for GLBT MBA students.
We create BGLAD pins, which raise awareness around the company.
We hold two productive interactions with DuPont management on the journey toward domestic partner benefits and a
truly welcoming and respectful work environment across DuPont.
We participate in two DuPont network coalitions: DNA (Diversity Network Alliance) and the MEC (Mentoring
Excellence Committee).
We commemorate Transgender Day of Remembrance for the first time.
We celebrate BGLT History Month with regular communications to the Network.
We educate DuPont corporate leaders about key issues with regular "BGLAD-grams."
We participate in a Domestic Partner Benefits strategy workshop sponsored by the Gill Foundation.
We nominated June Cohen for a DuPont Work/Life Award.
We staff the Delaware Pride event, which raises GLBT community awareness.

BGLAD hosts a National Coming Out Day teleconference of U.S. Plant Managers who spoke to their experiences in self education, growth and
work to make their site safer for BGLTs. Over 160 DuPonters dialed in, including a dozen VPs and a dozen directors. The panelists were: Ellen Dahl (Trailee Park); Warren Hoy (DPS Gulf Coast); Bobby
Laughlin (La Porte); Ronald Lee (Yerkes);Joe Internicola (Old Hickory);John Wasilik (Memphis).
